Pemanfaatan Media Youtube dalam Proses Pembelajaran pada Lingkungan Taman Pendidikan Al-Quran

The development of digital technology in the Society 5.0 era has influenced learning processes, including within non-formal Islamic educational institutions such as Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ). However, learning activities in TPQ are still predominantly conducted using conventional methods, causing students to become easily bored and less interested in participating in learning activities. This community service program aims to optimize the utilization of YouTube as an audiovisual learning medium to support the learning process in TPQ. The implementation method was carried out through several stages, namely observation, socialization, training, provision of facilities and infrastructure, as well as mentoring and evaluation. The observation stage was conducted to identify the problems and needs of partners related to the use of digital learning media. The socialization and training stages aimed to improve teachers’ understanding and skills in utilizing YouTube as an educational learning medium. Furthermore, supporting facilities for audiovisual learning were provided, followed by assistance in implementing digital media utilization within the learning process. The results of the program indicate that the use of YouTube media was able to increase students’ enthusiasm and participation in learning activities. In addition, teachers’ digital literacy skills also improved, enabling them to use audiovisual media more creatively and innovatively. This program has positive implications for improving the quality of learning in the TPQ environment and supports the transformation of technology-based education in the digital era.
